What's the role?
As a finance intern team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and timely delivery of special industry data and key performance indicators for our clients. You will work closely with experienced analysts on the PBI team to learn the ins and outs of conducting investment research while ensuring that Portfolio BI offers the best in class investment management products in the market. You will gain knowledge on investment management concepts, technology, and how economies our industry.
You can expect to:
Your journey at PBI will begin with a week of classroom based financial product and PBI product functionality training, to broaden your knowledge of the global financial markets and our market leading Portfolio BI solutions. After some initial training, you will join a team and immediately begin collaborating with our analysts and other interns. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Portfolio BI executives, making valuable contributions by taking part in data analysis, financial modeling, and research. Hands-on individual and group projects will allow you to experience how your full-time career could evolve. Throughout the internship, you will be supported by your manager to ensure you receive regular feedback on your work and help navigate the company.
•Current enrollment at an undergraduate institution with a record of strong academic performance. Candidate studied or is currently studying finance
•Exceptional problem solving, organization and communications skills
• Capacity to learn quickly and execute accurately
•Successful interns are able to multitask and manage a variety of projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
•Strong quantitative background; ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, algebra, discounted cash flows and accounting principles
•Strong interest in and knowledge of the financial markets preferred
•Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
•Attention to detail, initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation; demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in work product
