We are seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join our team. The individual in this position is responsible for providing technology services to our Sales / BusinessDevelopment team. The individual in this position is also responsible for maintaining and expanding the demo environments, loading prospect data for sales calls and proofs of concept, supporting demos and sales calls, and executing on any other technology-related tasks related to Sales.  Experience with MS SQL and MS Excel required, and knowledge of finance and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement features to manage dedicated system demonstration environments, building data loaders, data cleanup scripts, and various automated processes
• Work with business development to implement proofs of concept of new features based on prospect specifications and RFPs
• Loading client sample data for demos
• Build sets of views, dashboards, and reports for compelling demos
• Loading market data and evaluating the data
• Apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, source code control and review
• Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for the software applications
• Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to junior colleagues
• Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support the Company on various client and internal initiatives

Summary of Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements

• Bachelor’sDegree – major or concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math,Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Related Major required
• Minimum of three years relevant work experience required
• Experience with SQL Server required
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience building reports in reporting and/or BI platforms, such as SSRS, Tableau, and/or Power BI, or similar reporting frameworks required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and strong Excel skills required
• Knowledge of Finance and Finance reporting strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment
